2025 Statewide Wildfire Monitoring Situation Report 9/29/2025 @ 2000


Statewide, 78,555 acres currently are burning in 24 active fires. As of 0800 September 29, Oregon has 4 active Large Fires.
To date, 2,944 fires have burned 340,091 acres statewide.
There are currently 154 addresses under a Level 1, 2, or 3 evacuation notice.
The Northwest Coordination Center (NWCC) reports that the National Preparedness level is at Level 2 meaning that resource capability remains stable enough nationally to sustain incident operations and meet objectives in active geographic areas. In the Pacific Northwest the preparedness level is at level 3, meaning there are adequate resources within the geographic region to manage current incidents.
To date, the State ECC has received 102 requests for assistance, 87 requests have been completed, and 15 requests are in process.
The ECC is at Level 3: ECC Regional Response operating virtually. ECC Situation Reports and Policy Briefings will be distributed weekly. Changes to the cadence of reporting may occur based on incident activity.
